      +Ave Cor Mariae

Solemnity of Ascension of the Lord

Jesus got his hands up for blessing. He blessed the apostles, his church, his hope, everyone who knew him. They were the brand new church that he left behind. So he bless them. What did he say when he went to heaven?

      “Great commissioning”

He told them “Go into the whole world, and preach the good news. teach everyone all that I have taught you, and baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit.” This is called the Great commissioning, the Lord commissioned the apostles.

One, he said, no matter where you go, know that I have with you always, even to the end of time. The other thing he said that is “Don’t go right away.” First of all, go back into the city of Jerusalem, and wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit so that you can receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

      1. Go out to the whole world

      2. Know wherever you go, I’m with you.

      3. Don’t go directly but via Jerusalem, wait there to receive the Holy Spirit. (Pentecost)

Pentecost brings a close to the Easter season.

      Paschal Mystery

      3 basic parts

      1. Suffering and Death of Jesus on the Cross: Holy Thursday night and Good Friday. Paschal means “Passover” in Latin, in other words, Jesus becoming the Passover lamb.
      2. The resurrection of Jesus, the greatest miracle of Jesus’s resurrection from the dead after three days.: He showed the apostles that he had a real body, which is also one that he suffered with wounds in his hands, but glorified, no more pain. He also ate with them. They were all surprised by his death and his resurrection. But Jesus opened their minds to Scripture in the previous 40 days.
      3. Ascension

The church picks for us three different readings in the Psalms on every Sunday, so that we hear the Word of God a lot in cycles, so we can we can get the whole story right. Jesus opens Apostles minds, helped them to understand. Not only he explained it himself,

the Old Testament everything as the basis of his teaching

      Cumulation and Climax

      (explaining part 2 on resurrection)

He opened their minds to scriptures

He goes to heaven. He went outside of the creation. Creation has outer limit. We live in nature, every thing in created world have limitation. He went to the suer nature. Heaven does’t have a space. It’s eternal, immaterial.

Super natural refer to God, angels. It’s above nature.

True God, true man. Son of Mary, so we could have become like him.

Are you the one, or we need to find somebody else?

There were all about one thing

      Pinnacle of all is Jesus

      Co-mediator : Virgin Mary

What does Paschal Mystery mean for us?

2nd Sunday of Easter= Mercy Sunday, Divine Mercy “Peace be with you” Receive the Holy Spirit

3rd Sunday of Easter. We start meditation beautiful letter from St. John.

      “If anyone does sins…”

Jesus raises us up. Sin drags us down. Jesus went down, took them by the hands, raised them up.

Confession t least once a year.

      St. Augustine taught this

“What happens if you should sin after baptism. Perhaps, if sin creeps up

      Listen, if

he is the atonement of our sins

      becareful not to sin

      be vigilant

      condemn it at once

      there you have an advocate.”

4th Sunday of Easter Jesus the good shepherd

5th Sunday of Easter the vine and the branches : you are with me, now you can do anything

2nd part of the Paschal mystery makes us part of Jesus, we get lifted to up to have the *** of sons and daughters of Jesus.

      I’m the shepherd.

Jesus raises up from the pit, embraces us as his brothers and sisters. We don’t know the future, but we will try to be like him. He will take us with him.

      Corinthians 12:3

I’m going to be like him

      Gospel from the 6th Sunday

      Gospel

      Jn 15:9-17

      Jesus said to his disciples:
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
      Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
      and remain in his love.

“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you
and your joy might be complete.
This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.
No one has greater love than this,
to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
You are my friends if you do what I command you.
I no longer call you slaves,
because a slave does not know what his master is doing.
      I have called you friends,
because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.
It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you
and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain,
so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.
This I command you: love one another.”

We will be made like him by God.

(Sorry for this belated note. It is not completed, but I just uploaded for completion might take longer.)
