Each
person recited the first line of the prayer and rest of the group recited the
refrain. |

Foeckler then took us back to the Jesus’ time of Good Friday. |

Days
before the death. Starting with the Last Supper, Betrayal of Judah, Praying
at the |
|
Mount
Gathsemane, and Carrying of the cross. |
|
|

Luke
23:26 As the soldiers led Him away,
they seize Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way |

in from the country, and
put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. |

Just
as Simon from Cyrene who had bear the cross with Jesus and Veronica who had
wiped the |

blood
from Jesus’ face with her veil in comfort, we as christian should follow
their example during |
this
Lent season. As we have written our names on the chalkboard today, let our
names bear the |
cross
and to comfort Jesus during His suffering. |
