Father creates; Son redeems; Holy Spirit
sanctifies

 

 

      

Fr. Foeckler started with asking a question. What are the
Seven Sacraments?

 

     – Baptism

     – Eucharist

     – Confirmation

     – Reconciliation

     – Anointing of the
sick

     – Marriage

     – Holy Orders

 

Baptism does 2 things:

 

1.      1. Washes
away sins, original sin and every actual or personal sin (restoration of
temporal guilt)

2.      2. Gives
“new life” – Spiritual Divine Life

       -Sanctifying grace

       -Son/Daughter of God

       -Faith, Hope, &
Charity = Theological virtues

       -Justice, Prudence,
Temperance, Fortitude=Moral virtues

       – Gives the 9 gifts of
the Holy Spirit

            Created Gifts by God

            Uncreated Gifts: Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit (live in you)

 

John
14:16+23 “…to be with you forever-he dwells in you.”

 

Prayer is simply
conversing with God.

God gives us strength
and inspiration like a light in the dark.

Talk and listen to God, and he shall
guide you…
