( July 22 is the Feast Day of Mary Magdalene )

      Fr.
Foeckler asked the everyone if they knew who Mary Magdalene was and kids
      answered.

      – woman who was at the feet of Jesus

      – at the last supper washing Jesus’ feet with her hair using expensive oil

      – woman at the resurrection site

      – woman who was possessed with seven demons and Jesus drove them away, etc

Mary Magdalene (though she has been canonized as St. Mary Magdalene, we call
      her Mary Magdalene because she

was so well known in the bible as Mary
Magdalene) became very close with Jesus after Jesus drove away demons

      from her
and she respected him and loved him with all of her heart and served him as
      her
        Lord and Savior.

      She was always at
the feet of Jesus because she felt she was not worthy.

After Jesus’ resurrection, Jesus calls His disciples as His friends and WE
become brothers and sisters with Jesus.

Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me,
for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers
       and tell them, ‘I am
      ascending to
      my Father
and your Father, to my God and your God.’

      – John 20: 17

On  September 4, 2016,  Mother Teresa
will be canonized (to put on list of saints) as St. Teresa of Calcutta.

Mother Teresa was so close to God that God told her how to start the Order
of Sisters of Charity, mission to
       help
      the

poorest of the poor, homeless, blinds, cripples, naked and those unwanted by the society.

      God
told her how to design the sari
      (clothes) she wears.
        God even told her
to go to places that was not welcoming.

      She obeyed.

      Being Saints mean – Holy

      Loving God

Doing what God wants you to do

      Being obedient
        to His Calling
